WHAT DOES VEGAN LEATHER MEAN?
Pixie Mood is committed to being 100% cruelty free and that means that they have had to hunt for new, innovative vegan materials to make them bags come to life.
They use a vegan leather called PU leather otherwise known as Polyurethane Leather, which is different from lower grade synthetic leathers such as vinyl or PVC. They do not used PU "coated" leather, but only use the real thing.
PU leather is generally a layer or two of PU with a non-woven background. It is lighter and more breathable than PVC leather. It works well in colder climates and is more elastic than PVC.
